I've lived in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand, since 2011, after living in a
number of other countries.
I have spent fifteen years working on a set of related problems: how communities get
hold of money and power, and how they decide together what to do with it. I've founded software
companies, run charities, sat on boards, and crafted legal and financial structures. I love data,
technology, thoughtful social protocols, finely crafted workflows, skilful people management, and
behind-the-scenes infrastructure that amplifies the diverse impact of others. I want to make real
the Star Trek vision of our collective future.
